Ingredients
  

  • 25 g Butter Softened
  • 2 Garlic Cloves Crushed
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 1 pinch Ground Nutmeg
  • 900 g Potatoes  peeled

Instructions
 

  • Put the butter, cream, milk, garlic and nutmeg in a large pan and bring to the boil.
  • Reduce the heat and add the sliced raw potatoes. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Place the potatoes and sauce in the greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 45 minutes, until the potatoes are just tender.
  • Remove the foil and bake for a further 20 minutes, until the top is golden.
  • Eat.
