Instructions
Put the butter, cream, milk, garlic and nutmeg in a large pan and bring to the boil.
Reduce the heat and add the sliced raw potatoes. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
Place the potatoes and sauce in the greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 45 minutes, until the potatoes are just tender.
Remove the foil and bake for a further 20 minutes, until the top is golden.
Eat.
